PREPARING YOUR FORMS
Back2Back has an online Mission Trip Management (MTM) system that allows everyone to view their trip information, fill out their profile and sign their forms electronically. Your ID and password will be assigned by your Mission Coordinator. You can access the MTM here. Simply follow the instructions online.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST CARRY THE FOLLOWING WHILE TRAVELING
1) Valid passport Your passport must have more than six months validation remaining after your trip.
2) Photocopy of passport Please keep a copy in your carry-on.
MEXICAN VISA INFORMATION
You will receive an Immigration Form on your flight into Mexico. Please fill out this form before you land. After landing, you will present the completed form to the Mexican Immigration Officer in the airport. The officer will stamp the form and your passport. The officer will tear off the right part of the form and return it to you. You must keep this form. Please keep it safe in your passport. Each team member must have this form before leaving the airport for Back2Back’s campus (when they first arrive in Mexico). If you do not have this form, you will not be allowed to board your flight to return back to the United States at the end of your trip. If you lose the form, you will have to undergo a long process of completing forms, paying $200-$300 in fines, etc. A sample Immigration Form will be sent to you a week before your trip.
HAITI VISA INFORMATION
You will receive a green Immigration Form on your flight into Haiti. Please fill out this form before you land. After landing, you will present the completed form to the Haitian Immigration Officer in the airport. The officer will stamp the form and your passport. The officer will tear off the bottom part of the form and return it to you. You must keep this form. Please keep it safe in your passport. Each team member must have this form before leaving the airport for Back2Back’s campus (when they first arrive in Haiti). If you do not have this form, you will not be allowed to board your flight to return back to the United States at the end of your trip. If you lose the form, you will have to undergo a long process of completing forms, paying fines, etc. A sample Immigration Form will be sent to you a week before your trip. Additionally, Haiti charges a $10 entrance fee which you will need to pay either before or after immigration. This may be paid in US dollars.
NIGERIA & INDIA VISA INFORMATION
Visas are obtained approximately three months before your trip. Your Mission Coordinator will provide all of the necessary information to obtain a visa for Nigeria or India.
